About the Conference
The annual conference will include sessions on NPC1 structure and function, autophagy, cholesterol trafficking, lysosomal biology, therapeutics, gene therapy, biomarkers, and newborn screening.
We welcome scientists, clinicians, NPC families and advocates, and corporate representatives to particpiate. A tentative agenda and registration instructions are below.

Abstract information
Abstracts should be 1 page in length and submitted in the portal below. Additionally, please supply a brief 1 paragraph summary for NPC families. This should be an easily understood translation (think middle school science).
All abstracts for an oral or poster presentation must be submitted by April 15th, 2026. After this date they will not be accepted.
Trainee Session
We are delighted to offer a special Trainee Session on Saturday, May 30 from 8AM - Noon.
This session will be for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows only to give 10-minute oral presentations to their peers with Q&A to follow from their peers. Additionally, all Trainees will then give a Poster during the poster session. A $250 travel award will be provided to all trainees whose abstracts are accepted.
- You can give a poster only as a Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Fellow; however, it does not qualify you for the travel award
- If you are a Principal Investigator of a trainee, you may join the session, but the talks and Q&A are for trainees only.
