Parseghian Cup

Notre Dame Men’s Rugby team hosts the Parseghian Cup

October 17, 2025 | 5:15 pm @ Stinson Rugby Field (Notre Dame Campus)

History

For the past decade, the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Fund has joined forces with the Notre Dame Men’s Rugby team to host the Parseghian Cup. The event was originally played against the University of Arizona due to the relationship the Parseghian family has with the Notre Dame family and the Tucson, AZ community (home to the Arizona Wildcats).

Event Information

We hope you will come cheer on the Fighting Irish Men's Rugby team, while supporting this important cause, as they host the University of Illinois on Friday, October 17, 2025 (the day prior to the ND vs. USC football game). The match will begin at 5:15 pm at Stinson Rugby Field and is free to attend.

Following the match, both teams will gather for a reception and dinner from 6:30–8:30 pm in the William and Mary Ann Smith Ballroom at the Morris Inn. Join us to learn more about the history of the Parseghian Cup, the Parseghian family’s fight to find a cure for NPC disease, and hear directly from a family touched by your support.

The reception and dinner registration has closed. You can still donate to the cause by clicking the link below.
